After getting so many comments I feel like I should explain this shot a bit. My friend had a bottle of theater blood that she got from someone she knows. We decided to experiment with it, and this is one of the shots that we both liked the best. Neither of us have a studio, and therefor we did not have proper lighting. And since I am only a new beginner, I experimented a lot with shutter speeds, focus and so on. Theater blood dries rather quickly and I did not have a lot of time to nail this shot. Yes, clearly you can see that I did not use a tripod and remote on this photo which I absolutely should have. I used a tripod in some later shots, but I didn't feel like they had the quality that this photo has. It is fairly annoying, but I feel like the photo has some redeeming qualities either way. I am sure I will be photographing my friend much more in the future, and maybe we will perfect this shot somewhere along the line. Thank you for your positive comments, and even the negative ones. It gave me a cold terrible scare right away . The rough red colour and the way the model opens her mouth help to create such a frightened expression upon her mouth that gives the feeling that the model is saying "I'm in need of more blood, you may be my next victim, your body seems scrumptious".
